LAWRENCEVILLE — David G. James, age 82, of Lawrenceville, died on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on May 9, 1938 in Lake Orion, Michigan, the son of Charles L. and Iva (Shick) James. He married Betty Pinnick on Jan. 2, 1958, and she survives.
David worked for Briggs Pottery in Robinson.
Preceding him in death were: his parents; three brothers, Charles James, Donald James and Raymond James; and four sisters, Agatha Seed and husband, Frank; Betty Lafon and husband, Pat; Ann Plowman and husband, John; and Norma Akers.
Survivors include: his wife, Betty of Lawrenceville; three daughters, Marcia Wilson and husband, Phillip of Bridgeport; Brenda Spangler and husband, David of Lawrenceville; and Tonya Dixon and husband, Earl of Bridgeport; one brother, Paul James and wife, Mary of Bridgeport; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Private services will be conducted for the family.
A public burial were conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 in the May Chapel Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
