Lawrenceville Free Methodist

Morning worship will stream on Facebook Live at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 26. The evening prayer meeting will be held on Zoom at 5 p.m.

Morning prayer will be available by 6 a.m. on Monday, April 27.

A prayer meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 29 at 9:30 a.m. on Zoom. An update and devotional will be held on Facebook live at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Donations may be made by mailing a check to the church or by donating through the Paypal link on the church’s Facebook page. Members are encouraged to check the church’s Facebook page for messages throughout the week.

First Christian (Disciples of Christ)

Rev. Tom Akers will deliver the sermon on Sunday, April 26 entitled, “Coals to Diamonds” based on the scripture from Luke 24:13-35. If you would like to watch this sermon and the abbreviated service visit the website at https://sites.google.com/viwe/lvfcc/home or the church’s Facebook page.

St. Francisville Free Methodist

St. Francisville Free Methodist will hold an online service on Sunday, April 26 at 11 a.m. The congregation will sing a song before the service begins. The message is entitled, “Open My Eyes.”

Central Christian

Central Christian Church will offer an online sermon on Sunday, April 26 at 10 a.m. The sermon will be given by Carson Root and will be available on the church’s Facebook page or on the website at www.centralchristianlc.com.

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at Central on Tuesday, May 19 from 2-6 p.m. in the activity center. All blood types are needed. The Red Cross will observe all rules and regulations that are in place such as safe distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

First Christian, Bridgeport

A pre-recorded service will air on WAKO 910 AM and 99.3 FM on Sunday, April 26 at 9 a.m. Families are invited to gather items for communion.

The congregation is asked to accept the challenge of praying the prayer found in II Chronicles 7:14.

The weekly Bible reading is from I Chronicles 28 - II Chronicles 20.
