First Christian (Disciples of Christ)

Rev. Jeff Shick will deliver the meditation entitled, “The Jesus Mandate” based upon the scripture from John 13:5-17 on Thursday, April 9. On Sunday, April 12, Easter, Rev. Tom Akers will deliver the sermon entitled, “An Unlikely Witness” based upon the scripture from John 20:1-18. If you would like to watch this sermon and the abbreviated service visit the website listed above or the church’s Facebook page.

Lawrenceville Free Methodist

The prayer meeting will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m. The devotional will be streamed on Facebook at 6:30 p.m.

The Maundy Thursday worship service will stream on Facebook Live on Thursday, April 9 at 7 p.m.

Good Friday worship will also be streamed on Facebook at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 10.

Easter morning worship on Sunday, April 12, will stream on Facebook at 9:30 a.m. The Sunday evening prayer meeting will be on Zoom at 5 p.m.

Online giving is available through a Paypal link on the church’s Facebook page.

New Life Christian

New Life Christian Church’s Sunday morning and mid-week break services are available on YouTube. New services are posted weekly. Sunday morning 9:30 a.m. services and mid-week break service links may be found on the New Life Christian Church, Lawrenceville, IL, Facebook page. All services will resume in person once the Shelter in Place order has been lifted.

First Christian

There will be no services “inside” the building at First Christian Church until further notice. The public is invited to listen to recorded services on WAKO 910 AM or 99.3 FM on Easter Sunday, April 12 at 9 a.m.

The monthly leadership meeting is planned for Thursday, April 16 at the church at 6 p.m.

The weekly Bible reading is I King 17 - II Kings 17.

Central Christian

Central Christian Church continues to offer an online worship service on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. This Sunday, April 12, Easter Sunday, Carson Root will have the morning message. The public can view the service live on Facebook or at the website: centralchristianchurchlc.com. Activities at the church building are cancelled at this time.
