Richard A. White has been named interim Executive Director of the Illinois Police Officers’ Pension Investment Fund by the Board of Trustees via a teleconferenced meeting on June 5, 2020. The Illinois Police Officers’ Pension Investment Fund was created by law, signed in December 2019 by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The Pension Investment Fund is required to consolidate the investment assets of the 353 Article 3 Illinois police pension plans into one statewide investment asset pool no later than July 1, 2022. After the conclusion of the transition period, the Pension Investment Fund will manage an estimated $8.3 billion in assets. more
CHICAGO –The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) announced today it has filed permanent rules for cannabis dispensary licensees to be selected when there are two or more applicants with tied high scores. The rules apply to applications that are tied for the last remaining license or licenses in a specific Bureau of Labor Statistics region. The rules will be available on the IDFPR website. more
