OBLONG –– Season openers typically can be unpredictable, but Friday night’s opening contest for Red Hill High School’s boys’ basketball team went pretty much as the Salukis had hoped. Nearly 11 months after they last played a game, Red Hill took to the court to open their abbreviated 2021 season and rolled to a 69-36 win at Oblong. “We knew this game would be a good opportunity to get out of the gates well early and that’s what we did,” RHHS head coach Bryan Havill said. “It was nice to start off with a win. The kids were excited to be out there playing and I was happy to have the opportunity to coach them.” more
