FAIRFIELD - Host Fairfield took advantage of five forfeits and won five of nine contested matches Tuesday to take a dual meet from Lawrence County's high school wrestling team, 60-54.
Lady Indians fall to Marshall in semifinals
LAWRENCEVILLE - Second-seeded Marshall took control in the second period Tuesday and defeated host sixth-seeded Lawrenceville, 48-33, in the semifinals of the Little Illini Conference Tournament.

BRIDGEPORT - The Red Hill Salukis were in the hunt for two and a half quarters Tuesday before the visiting Marshall Lions forced several turnovers which led to easy baskets and an eventual 67-45 win in Little Illini Conference play.

SULLIVAN, Ind. - Lawrence County's High School wrestling gave away forfeits in five weight classes Saturday, in the process of winning once in five tries at the Sullivan Duals. The team is now 8-10 in duals on the season.

Friday night Red Hill dropped a game to Newton, a team it had defeated in overtime less than two weeks ago. On Saturday, the Salukis edged Fairfield, a club they lost to by 21 points during the Basketball Capital Classic.
