Red Hill hangs on to beat Lawrenceville, 55-54
BRIDGEPORT - Friday night's Little Illini Conference match-up at Red Hill High School featuring Lawrence County's two high school boys basketball teams - the Red Hill Salukis and Lawrenceville Indians - was as advertised. The county rivals duked it out for four quarters and the Salukis went on to beat the Indians, 55-54.
Parkview splits matchup with Paris Mayo Tigers
PARIS - The Parkview Junior High boys basketball team made the long trek north to Paris on Saturday to take on the Paris Mayo Tigers. The seventh graders would pull out a close victory, while the eighth graders lost by double digits.
Lady Indians prepare for 2018 season without Ferrell, Dining
LAWRENCEVILLE - After compiling a 10-18 overall record a year ago, the Lawrenceville High School girls basketball team is looking to take another step forward in Tad Shick's second year as head coach without two of the top three scorers from the 2017 squad, Charleigh Ferrell and Bailey Dining.
Heaton, Raiders stun Red Hill 48-40 in opening round of IHSA playoffs
BRIDGEPORT - Connor Heaton and the Moweaqua-Central A&M Raiders were too much for the Red Hill High School football team to handle in the first round of the Illinois High School Association Class-1A playoffs on Saturday. The Raiders had a response for everything the Salukis threw at them, and won a 48-40 thriller, sending Red Hill home empty-handed after a spectacular 2018 campaign with moments that will be remembered for years to come.

Red Hill looks to close out season strong in Casey
BRIDGEPORT - Only one contest stands between Red Hill High School's football team and a home playoff game. The Salukis will visit the Casey-Westfield Warriors (5-3, 4-3 in the Little Illini Conference) on Friday in hopes of hosting a second consecutive home game in the opening round of the Illinois High School Association Class-1A football playoffs.

CLAY CITY - The Lawrenceville High School volleyball team dropped a close, non-conference match against the Clay City Lady Wolves (10-12 entering play) on Tuesday evening after falling four points short in the third set.

Girls cross country team wins second consecutive LIC title in Olney, boys finish fourth
OLNEY - For the second straight season, the Lawrenceville-Red Hill girls co-op cross country team was crowned Little Illni Conference champions on Tuesday after placing three runners in the top-10 at the 2018 LIC meet in Olney. The boys team finished fourth in their respective race to finish in the middle of the pack.
Salukis win big over Marshall, 56-14
BRIDGEPORT -- A six minute dog-on-the-field related delay began the Red Hill High School football team's thumping of the Marshall Lions (4-2 entering play) at home on Friday evening. Once the dog exited the field via the north end zone on its own accord after unsuccessful efforts to remove the dog, the Salukis ran rampant and thoroughly handled the Lions, 56-14.
Red Hill drops 20th match of 2018 in Casey
CASEY - On Thursday evening, the Red Hill High School volleyball team trekked north to Casey-Westfield to take on the Lady Warriors in Little Illini Conference play. The Lady Salukis dropped the match in two sets.
Home sweet home: Salukis to host Lions after two weeks on the road
BRIDGEPORT - The last time the Red Hill High School football team was at home, the visiting Paris Tigers were putting the finishing touches on a homecoming-spoiling 34-14 victory over the Salukis, ending Red Hill's run of 15 consecutive regular season wins.
