Family loses everything in fire
SUMNER - A local family of four lost their belongings in a house fire in rural Lawrence County, north of Bridgeport, Tuesday evening.

The Rev. Jerry Flemming said a community effort to provide items for the Heath and Jessica Judy family, which includes two young children, is under way at the Sumner Free Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

The family is in need of clothing and toys for the children.

Sizes for Heath Judy are: pants 32 X 32 and shirts size large. His wife Jessica wears size 13 - 15 in pants and size large shirts. Alivia, a six year old girl needs clothes size six to seven and shoes size one and 2. Axel, a three year old boy wears size two - three T and shoes size 8 - 9.

Items may be dropped off anytime between now and 5 p.m. on Friday.

This is a joint effort of the Sumner and Island Free Methodist churches.
