AVAILABILITY OF A FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT (FONSI) FOR

LAWRENCEVILLE-VINCENNES

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, LAWRENCEVILLE, ILLINOIS

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announces its issuance of a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on a Condensed Environmental Assessment (EA) prepared by the Lawrenceville-Vincennes International Airport. That finding addresses the following development actions proposed by the Bi-State Authority:

• Provide a 21-acre pavement lease to Toyota Boshoku Illinois to temporarily park newly manufactured vehicles on an apron before being distributed (in order to comply with the Airport’s FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Grant Obligations to create revenue to sustain and improve the Airport and contribute to its capital improvement funds).

FAA's FONSI, issued on December 22, 2020 indicates the proposed airport actions are consistent with existing environmental policies and objectives as set forth in the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 and will not significantly affect the quality of the environment.

Copies of the FONSI and the Condensed Environmental Assessment (the background data on which the FONSI is based) are available for public information review until February 12, 2021 at the following locations:
